In the past the fishing boats in St Ives had red sails and sometimes if you’re lucky you can glimpse them on the horizon. Maybe they’re just the ghosts of the old ships or the light reflecting in the sails or some boats still have red sails I’m not sure but I enjoy the feeling that like many before I’m staining to see them in the distance and the words of the song run through my mind.
